hey there chris! i'm doing good for now... my hard drive is dying and has major physical damage, so i gotta buy a new one... most likely getting those new ssd's everyone is talking about.

1) I've never met you, and therefore cannot have an opinion.
2) You don't want a Solid State only. They're fast but expensive, I think people typically run their OS or intensive programs off of one.

my plan was either a singular SSHD and secondary 1tb hdd, or a 3 phase RAID 1+0 with a 128 gb ssd and 2 500 gb hdd's. but hey, if you have any advice, shoot it my way! and yes, i am going with SLC, MLC sucks.
